• Child emergently hospitalized due to unexpected medical issue and as a parent, you have to reduce your work hours, faced with unemployment, and or take a leave of absence.

• Choosing between caring for your special-needs child or quitting your job?

• Figuring out how to find extra food when you have child care where your child receives breakfast and lunch, but the child has a fever and is not allowed at daycare?

• Coming “out of retirement” to provide full-time or emergency daycare for your special needs grandchild because you are the only other person that child trusts?
